Dang, Donald, this thing is gorgeous. And look at the foliage! It is
also not being stingy with pollen, unlike some of the 'real' Schreiner
blues here. It is in the absolute worst part of the gravel rows. From
photos you've posted, this one is obviously used to growing amongst
larger rocks than here, & thinks this is a good place to live. Now you
need to send it somewhere with real soil <g>
First of the 10 to bloom, but seems late enough here to avoid late
freeze problems. Look forward to seeing what this one does during
summer rain - foliar health so far is <very> encouraging. How has bloom
held up in your late freezes?
