There have been quite a few photos of chimeras posted here over the
years. Not sure about the location/pattern of the part affected - seems
like they've mostly been parts of falls.
Like Betty, I thought it was a fairly common, weather related thing.
I've seen several here, usually only one bloom affected, never pay much
attention to them.
Is it the distribution of the pigment affected that you think is so
uncommon?
