1708-3-beards

This is the third bi-colored iris with red beards that I've noticed had this quality this year.  One is Barry Blyth's DIGNITY DANCER. The third was a bi-tone purple seedling that bloomed for the first time, also.  (no pictures) It is another delayed germination seedling from the same series (1709-2).  Also bloomed in a pot.  It's a bi-tone smoky purple.  The cross on 1709-2 is VISITING ROYALTY X SUMMER RADIANCE.
