It IS a sort of palm tree that can resit -15 centigrades 
it's called TRACHYCARPUS !
 
it gives the impression we live 1500kms more south than we actually do...

Here are two pictures of the back garden before the iris bloomed.
 
Now they are opening everywhere, it's as if no other plant ever existed ...
 
That's why it's nice to have some pictures to go back to normal again...
