Re: [SPAM] Re: Junk Mail Use in Yard

You know, never thought of that.  For me I could just sit a pan of water out side, let the sun do it's job and then do your suggestion.  Thanks--

Its more work but it dose make the job easer , boil water in a small pan and take out to your broken ends and put it in the hot water for just a few seconds and it should slid right in that is my trick! debby

Usually I'd use 2 radiator clamps and a hard plastic fitting that fit inside of the soaker hose.
I agree that getting the fitting inside the hose was a bit of work sometimes.  I'd try to wait till it was really warmed from the sun before I'd wiggle the hard plastic inside the soaker hose.

I made sure my clamps were on lose on each side. (I note this b/c sometimes I'd forget to put clamps on first and have to do the whole thing over). To take clamp apart was more work than starting over. Oh well---.

Sometimes you can just use old hoses pieces, but  it's hard to tighten the clamp enough w/o squeezing the whole thing to much.

Linda, how do you piece them?  I'm limited to duct tape.  Disc problems in my neck prevent me from using things like the splice kits for hoses and press on marking tapes for identification.

I do understand the differences in climate.  Pity you can't have some of our dew.
