More typical of what I get here in the "vale", where I'm convinced
erratic freezes & frosts affects viability of children (seeds) as well
as seed set and germination rate.

Higher percentage of strong seedlings might be the good news?

<Also, I'm getting less than 50% germination overall, whereas I normally
get near 70%. It's probably a blessing, since space is chronically
short here, but it also means that some crosses are giving less than
