My first bearded bloom of the season was on a noid SDB. When I went to
deadhead the faded bloom I searched for a secondary bud before I
snapped it off. Instead I found a long perianth tube down to a 1.5"
(+/-) stalk. I just thought it was worth telling since I had just seen
these posts and I don't remember seeing it before. I'll send a photo
when I have time to edit it.
