Re: They're teasing me on purpose

I don't have any irises blooming yet either. Only now are the SDBs showing some noticeable bloom stalks.

Like Ann, I get spring rot every year, but the good news is that it's much less than in the past two years. Probably because this winter was very even in temperature. The previous 2 winters fluctuated wildly in temperature.

In Calgary, we are just happy that it didn't snow this week : )
The crocuses are still blooming, not close to any irises yet  Had more rot than usual this spring... Lost San Francisco, Tea Rose, China Gate, Goldfish, and a couple of noids. Hopefully that's it (knock on wood), but It is early days yet!

I still have almost nothing blooming.... ARrrrrrrrrggggggghhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!!

will it help if I do a pee pee dance?

I have a blue on blue BC seedling showing color, and a peach child of a BC showing color, and I have this intriguing bud showing color.

Naturally the tag says NOID seedling.

Neighboring seedlings make it 05-152 Edith Wolford X sdlg 03-009-02, or else 05-119 McKellar's Grove x 03-009-02... so that makes it a child of my first seedling ever to bloom (the one that bloomed out)... and based on what's showing in the bud it is very similar to that parent.

Now.... bloom already!!! <raises her leg>
