I know little about
that kind of iris, but those are really beautiful, especially the first
one. Its standards look like the wings of some exotic bird.

seedlings from an attempt to bring more blue to I stolonifera
the magenta, violet, and dark brown colorings of I. stolonifera, but
through selecting clones and intercrossing them, I wanted to soften the
coloring of the standards of I. stolonifera. Two seedlings I've liked and
kept are pictured below.
seedling has lighter cocoa-colored edges on the standards. The blue
centers are wide and a light color that has some pinkish lavender influence:
seedling has milk chocolate edging on the standards, and the blue of the
standards is closer to blue. The fall colors on this second one are
