Sorry you've had such a bad season. 
 
It's been a strange season here but not as bad as yours.  With temperatures hitting 90 degrees I'd guess the season is about over.

The seedling in the top photo will be the last iris to bloom here. The
cross is (Skating Party x Lumiere d'Automne) X 'Schreiner Blue' sdlg. It's
too bad the season didn't go out with something I liked better than this
one, but this year any bloom at all has been appreciated since bloom was so
sparse.

The 2nd photo was far and awy the best performance of an iris here this
year. Nothing else even came close. 2nd year clump and it bloomed heavily
last year and most stalks had seven buds that actually managed to bloom and
keep looking respectable. A relative of sorts to the blue seedling since
it's Carefree Days X (Skating Party x Lumiere d'Automne). The SPxLdA plants
were siblings, not the same one.
