Re: CULT: re: seedling 20A9

Margie  --  If it's 20D11 to which you're referring  --  the burnished gold with the outer ring on the white band  -- yes, I tried several crosses this past spring,  none of which took.  I'm hoping for better luck next season.  I'm hoping that I don't have a sterile plant here.  Some of its siblings have set seed, so I'm hopeful.  I have some bright hopes for the pattern of this flower in various colors.  --  Griff

I really do like the pattern on this one, Griff. There are many superb patterns on SDB's not yet seen on TB's.  any plans to ever cross this one with a TB?

For those of you who like 20A9  --  I'd like to get 20A9's rebloom trait and brighness into its soft gold neighbor, 20D11, whose pattern is much more defined, but none of several crosses involving 20D11 set pods this year.  20D11 is SDB in stature, but it may be an IB dead end.  We'll see what next year's attempts bring.   --  Griff
