DSC 1257 is the most accurate colour, mine is flowering now.

If you find your digital camera is making your violets too blue, try
changing the white balance from "sunny" or "auto" to a "warm fluorescence"
setting, usually makes them just right, but may make your yellows too gold,
so you may need to reset depending on the colour you are photographing.
