effected by many things, including soil components and temperature. Higher
temperature will water down or lighten the darkest of colors.
People often think they have received the wrong iris, simply because the
color is not as deep or saturated as a picture they have seen would
indicate. Judges argue this point at shows.
Hydrangeas are not the only flowers effected by the ph of soil.
