You are right Bob........... there must have a tag or two mixed up in that garden. That iris (and the photo taken of it) was in the Wildwood Garden in Oregon. Thanks for the heads-up! I wonder if anyone else out there may recognize this iris or if it's a seedling - the seedling number. I checked out the website link you gave and I didn't see anything on Chrisopherson's website that looked even remotely like it.

I went to Vincent Christophersons web site: www.toolsbydesign.com/vciris and the photo he has listed there as Stir Crazy, 2002 is completely different then the one posted recently. If the photo was taken in Portland maybe it was a more recent introduction but more likely one of his seedlings that got the wrong name attached. I was intrigued by it's contrast thats why I looked it up. The attachment comes from his web site.
