Re: Photo: HYB:TB: Pearlized high-sheen seedling 1

Hi

My previous photo didn't seem to come through. My apologies if you got this yesterday.

Here is the most pearly seedling I've ever seen. Now to improve it's form and substance.
Scion x Coral Point.

Subject: [iris-photos] Photo: HYB:TB: Pearlized high-sheen seedling 1

Speaking of seedlings here are couple of photos of a few of my seedlings during their maiden bloom this past spring.

Some of the seedlings in this cross produced iris petals with a luminous pearl-like sheen.  I personally have not seen anything like it.  In addition to this high gloss sheen they have diamond dusting (which I have seen on numerous irises).

The photos capture some of this pearl-like sheen but not in it's intensity.

This one is in PINK. It opens brighter than it tends to remain.

First photo is just as it is unfurling.

This was the seedling the following day. Substance was thick almost like plastic.

I hope to see better form develop and maybe more buds as the years follow.  This year there were 6 buds.
