I didn't like the purple over pale yellow. I've been looking at it all week and I kinda like it, now. It has domed standards, flaring falls and at least 9 buds . . . all qualities I like! The yellow fall band is wider than I thought it was going to be. It's opened 3 blooms so far and I've tags hanging all over it.
Also, I think it's partly expectation? I was expecting a red on yellow plicata! My ultimate goal. I just get too impatient.
