RE: RE: Austin

Thanks Char,

Having attended our first National Iris Tour I learned from you the tricks of labeling photos with your follow up pictures of name tags for both people/iris in the garden!  It was certainly fun to meet so many folks at this tour face to face!

Sarah is working on her AIS Coloring Contest Entry this weekend!   The entry this year provides so much creativity that she asked me if she could enter 9 different versions!!!   LOL

We are enjoying watching the new additions from the Median Iris Auction purchases growing now.  Some of those SDB’s have really added on a lot of new fans!  Hope we don’t get the April freezes like last spring as are looking forward to a true “bloom season” here in NE.  Our Spring Iris Show was only about ¼ of its normal showing due to Mother Nature’s havoc on us here!  Our space-agers bloomed with no horns, flounces, or spoons so to say and looked like a normal iris blossom.

The AIS “Iris Fan” Youth Newsletter featured a photo of some recipients of your generosity of potted iris.  Thanks for supporting the youth in your community and making their day!!!  I am sure this project gives you much joy and pleasure!

Hi,

Yes I did get quiet a few.  I have not labeled them yet but when the cold weather sets in I will be working on them and I will let you know.

Thanks,

Char

Good Evening Char,

Did you get any good photos of the Median Convention in Lincoln, NE.   Sarah and I were just wondering how they turned out?

Hi,

In case you have not noticed the registration for the Convention is up on the Austin web site.

I will be handling roommates again so if you are considering going and worried about the cost, share your room.  I have made the best friend in my life by having a roommate.  Maybe you will too.

Thanks,

Char
