I'm sorry, I was mistaken about the two species. I looked yesterday
and the I. perrieri was the one with purple spathes. Although, the
Iris furcata did have three way basal branching. I will try to get
some pictures of the whole plants and closeup of the spathes and
later blooms. And I can send the pictures to you, if they don't show
up in the forum. Thank you again for all of your help.
