leathery and swollen and leaves. For those aphylla leaves  upper third part
is some broader and they have sickle form, but furcata have straight and
some narrower leaves. For aphylla also in spring leaves begin to grow
some latter than appear bloomstalk. How is with your plant?
I can not tell you valuable information about I. perrieri, as is
said it is syn. of I.aphylla for West European (french Alps )clone
which grow at about 1700-1800m level. Color of flower is purple
violet. 2n=24.
Can you post me privately photos Neil have evaluated? I did not found
in my E-mail post, maybe not all messages reach me
