Chuck,
If I can remember, I'll try and keep track of numbers of colors for
crosses this season and get back to you. Just roughly estimating, it
looks like the 29 Kupari X rubromarginata seedlings are split 50:50
between purple and amoena. Kupari x variegata haven't started to
bloom yet, but at least five or six seedlings will be soon. The one
seedling I have from variegata X mellita has yellow standards and
falls with purple and burgundy stripes over yellow and white falls.
I've got about a dozen Kupari X cengialtii seedlings that should
bloom next year. And a bunch of species X species, and species X
cultivar, type seedlings germinating right now outdoors. Most of
these are from combinations of Consummation, variegata, cengialtii,
Floridor, Kupari, and my variegata X mellita hybrid (which is being
registered as 'Clown Pants' and will probably be introduced by Iris
City Gardens in the near future).
Talk to you later, Tom

results are certainly consistent with this. Would like to have more
details of your crosses. Patents, and coulours and numbers of
offspring, if available.
