Re: posting picturesHELP

I am the last person to advise Tom and I am hoping that more e-mail literate people will come forward. The species list accepts pictures attached to messages. I assume that if there is a problem recieving them it is due to settings on Tom's computer or on the service he uses. can anyone help? Even though pictures eat up my mailbox space I like receiving them with messages. I tend to ignore most list groups that don't allow photos.

your message, it would be so much easier for everyone.

Bob,
I've just gotten accustommed to wrapping up pictures I want to share,
in an HTML document and posting it to my website. Then I can just
give people the URL and they can visit it to see. Up until this
fumble, it's been the most trouble-free way I've found. The reason
I've been doing it this way, is because..... the other forums I use
(Rose Hybridizer's Association, Violet Forum, etc.) either will not
allow image links or my webhost will not allow links to my images. As
far as attaching the photos to the message, I didn't do this because
I don't know where those images go....but they seem to all get
stripped from the messages that I've read here on the forum. I've
been meaning to ask where I can see them, since I've just been
imagining what all of the beautiful pictures look like, for example:

Jim's Pink Siberian says at the end

Attachment (not stored)
pinksiberiansdlg.jpg
Type: image/jpeg

I've looked in the photos section. Am I missing something????
Tom
