Iris ruthenica. This little iris usually gets hit by a late frost so
I'm happy to see it looking good this year. These small iris are hard
to photograph without a macro lens. Using my point and shoot with
crossed fingers. Still not quite in focus! From the ground to the top
of the standards is only 2 inches.
Busy spring, missed taking photos of nearly all junos at peak. Even I.
iberica which stayed open for 3 days was missed. Gotta get my
priorities straight, one of these days.
