I have got the Marksam articles  courtesy  of George R. Hildenbrandt <grh3@psu.edu>. He tracked them down and forwarded copies to me and to Bill. 
Much thanks to him for his phelp with this.

It will be intersting to know how the  spot compares with the falls and the standards.

Bill, what magnification do you use to see these details?
