Issue #13 was December 1924.

I got my phtocopies of the early issues of BAIS from HIPS publications, Dorothy Stiefel 

I suspect the attempt at classifying colours outlined in this issue was used by some to indicate probably parentage, leading to some compounding of errors. The original references are worth looking at.

I'm hoping to get certified samples of  pallida and subspecies to see what can be done to confirm or find our methods of testing to determine poosible relationships/differences. Cultivated plants have some probles in this.

I have noted that some Italian and Croatian botonists consider cenigalti, illyrica and pallida to be seperate species. They ar e the people in the aarea of wild location.

Loppio was collected in the region of cengialti , where it grows naturally. 

It would be nice to read the original Linnean society documentation on this and the reasoning for how they are classified.
