Iris cretensis is in bloom today in my garden.

Also, while on a wildflower hunt at the local parks, I found SOME kind of 
iris/irid.  I'm gonna guess it's a native Sisyrinchium, but I really don't 
know.  It's definitely not a grass.  (So many times I get fooled by grass, 
but as soon as I get close I can tell it's grass.)
