Cristata

The cristata, had completely disappeared during the drought covering
Aug and Sept of last year, have returned. Last month, I had noticed
clumps under the creeping jenny I was weeding. Back and blooming!

Seedlings from 2004 are looking good. Decided to pot up last fall and
place in a cold frame. Sink or swim. Doing the back stroke with Olympic
form. The Siberian forms are 6-7 inches tall, and growing well during
the winter.

Seeds from last January's sowings are germinating well, versata,
lactea, clarkei, delavayi. Well pleased with the outcome. No more
coddling.
