Sounds very bad to me.  How will this affect the conventions?   It has been 'warm' for one day here in Ottawa.  It hit 15 C (just under 60F) in early April.  The pots were snow-covered still (I clear my driveway onto the pots), so they have remained hard frozen.   There has been no bud-break and very limited bud swelling even in the birches.   Sometimes you're the windshield and sometimes you're the bug.    And, unfortunately, the bugs haven't had enough warmth to surface.  It'll probably be another good borer year.   Sandy Ives in still frozen Ottawa. __._,_.___ Messages in this topic (0) Reply (via web post) | Start a new topic Messages | Files | Photos | Links | Database | Polls | Members | Calendar Change settings via the Web (Yahoo!
