I. lactea from Iran


It's blooming again and I'm still amazed at the size of it. All parts are 2 or 3 times larger then any other lactea here. The flowers are big (and pretty), the foliage is already 18 inches tall, and it blooms 2 weeks earlier then chinese forms. I should have seed for the exchange this winter. I'm even thinking about naming and introducing it, I wonder if the name 'Tehran' has been used?
