Re: Neomarica pests

Mealybugs! Irids grown indoors seem susceptible to them. Smash the big ones and spray with Safer's soap to control them!

Subject: [iris-species] Neomarica pests

Tonight I noticed lots and lots of white "dust" on my Neomarica leaves.  Some of the large dust particles have legs and crawls.  I don't have good enough lighting to figure out what it is.... and the internet claims this plant has no pests.  So I wanted to go fishing into your guys collective knowledge to figure out what I might have.  I'll look more carefully tomorrow in the daylight.  Perhaps try to take some pics.
