it into space between irises, and watered it during dry spells all
summer until it was a nice clump. It grew and flowered the same as other
local wild Sisyrinchiums I'd tried in gardens, but had double flowers.

I intended to divide it in the spring and keep it going, but voles ate
all of it under the snow that winter. I've never seen another one.
