Nancy Oike, Chair, Darts Hill Garden Conservancy Trust Society, told me in a message: "We have no such plant in our inventory. I followed up with inquiries to the original Darts Hill gardener as well as a couple of botanists with close association to Darts Hill. One of them has suggested that the cultivar name may refer to Dart Hill in Connecticut." But the CT suggestion seems unlikely, Dart Hill seems to be more of a picnic park than a garden (http://articles.courant.com/1997-07-22/news/9707220470_1_park-s-official-opening-17-acre-park-picnic-areas). And the main question remains: What is distinctive about it? Anyone have any clues? Graham
