Re: Iris foetidissima yellow seeds


Dennis, what color are the flowers on this foetidissima?  I'm pretty sure I have citrina with the regular bright orange/red seeds.  I've been looking for other varieties of foetidissima.  thanks. Will Warner

Here is a photo of the yellow seeds I collected from my Iris foetidissima
"Golden Gobbet".  I'll be donating them to SIGNA's seed exchange.

I really like this cultivar because the foliage remains quite erect during
the summer.  Several of my other varieties have floppy foliage that reminds
me of Iris tectorum.
