Re: unknown irid

Hi Dennis,

It is in the same family, only the larger variety of "sisyrinchium"

I grow the tallest of them, sisyrinchium straitum, which grows to about 30" here with very showy flower spikes.

Subject: [iris-species] unknown irid

Does anyone know what this might be?

Dennis,
If you don't mind, could you post it on one of the Iris photo groups and see if anyone knows what it is?  This little plant does grow wild around here, but is not as common as the "regular" Blue-Eyed Grass.

Above is a look at some sort of Irid [Member of the Iris Family] that came up in a pot of the Daylily RUSSIAN RHAPSODY.  It looks similar to Sisyrinchium [Blue Eyed Grass] yet has some differences.  Does anyone know what this is?  Sorry for the large file size, but I don't want to lose detail.
