outsmarted


Maiden bloom on my Alophia veracruzana occurred yesterday, but I only 
caught the tail end after the flower had withered up.  Today I came 
home at lunch time hoping the next one would be blooming, but 
nope.  They want to bloom another day it seems.  LOL.

They are tiny little plants, much smaller than Tigridia pavonia, but 
otherwise very very similar.  Hopefully I'll get some pictures of the 
flower I can post tomorrow.
