Alophia veracruzana... at last

I finally caught A. veracruzana in the act of blooming. Flowers
apparently open some time before sunrise, and start wilting by late
afternoon. I took pictures this morning around 8am, and again around
1pm. Unfortunately it was raining!

Still, I'm happy to have caught it in the act. Oh, and the fragrance
is lovely! Very faint, but very yummy. :-)
