Bill,
     That it is.  Sometimes it is sold as Morea bicolor but it is the same plant.  I have one plant of this, and one plant of the white Dietes in the most sheltered spots I have.  They will not grow in the open here due to winter cold spells.  Thinking cold, here is a photo from this past December.  That is not frost, but is ice that built up when there was some marine air that moved in during a freeze during the night.  The temperature at the time of the photo was 17Â F.
