Bulbous Iris

I have several bulbous species from Signa 2003 seed. Currently the plants are in troughs in the garage. Between Christmas decorations, promix bags and troughs I teeter thru the garage. Can I take them up and store as I store glads? Seems logical, but logic escapes me these days.
