We try for a minimum of four healthy looking seeds. If something is very abundant we will put as many as will fit in a packet. Average is probably in the eight to twenty range. This is an all volunteer workforce with on the job training, mistakes can happen. Someone did donate just three seeds of one iris this year, have not decided what to do about that yet.
