typical I siberica seedling


 

I agree with Yuri, based on only fotos, but, I don't see any strong resemblance with I. delavayi. 

Attached is a typical seedling I have as offspring from I. siberica, open pollinated.  For me, this is the closest relation.  As this is most likely a seedling with a complex siberica hybrid, I. sanguinea is certainly a part of the mix.  Some seedlings have more brown on the bracts.

Of course, counting the chromosomes of the seedling in question would shed considerably more light.

It's Winter.  We have a good foot of snow, which is rare for Cologne.
