Could be a daylily.  If you carefully poke around and remove some of the soil around it you'll see a shiny black seed coat attached.

I sowed some gesneriads in a terrarium and this guy sprouted.  You think it's some kind of Iris/irid?

I thought grass at first.  Now I'm thinking irid.

It's my fault for recycling potting mix.  Oooh... I wonder if it's a Manfreda longiflora??  I had a batch of those that never germinated earlier in the year.  Hmmmm...
