I have not heard of "Variegata" with A capital "V" or Silverstripe either.I don't have time right now to research what is in the Wiki.

But on the iris wiki, Variegata is listed as a cultivar of I ensata, as is Silverband, and Silverstripe, which I never heard of. In my irises book by Clair Austin Variegata is with a capitol V. So, I assumed it was a cultivar also.
