The variegated iris is indeed I. pallida variegata, sometimes marketed as "Zebra" and sometimes as "argentea". The yellow & green striped form usually goes by the name of I. pallida variegata "aurea".
 
I also raise I. japonica 'Aphrodite' and have attached an image taken of the base of the mature fans. 'Aphrodite' fans tend to angle out from the base dramatically when room is available rather than show the more upright form of the pallida.
 
It's difficult to believe that I. pallida variegata will bloom so profusely, but during those rare years when it's perfectly happy it can do so. I've seen mine look much the same as in the photo. Unfortunately, the year following such bloom it will attempt to die. ;-)
