It is difficult to dispute the leaves are of pallida or japonica. I
have no pallida "Argentea", but have picture of it only can not find
at this time. In my memory the leaves are more close to pallida than
to japonica. I have I.japonica "Ledgers variety" from England and it
has different shape than described in the photo. Maybe in USA you have
another clone as you have mentioned "Aphrodite".
