Re: Iris acutiloba

Hi Dennis,

The only person I know that has grown this Iris did it in a large pot withalmost pure sand.

It is rarely found in cultivation but is from dry stony places often in loose volcanic soils.  I hoope this may help.

Do you, or any members, have information on planting requirements for Iris acutiloba e.g. planting depth, spacing, timing, watering requierements etc.

Many thanks

Gill

I got this request from someone in UK.  If you have grown Iris acutiloba, please respond directly since they're not a member of either mailing list that I'm cross-posting this to (Iris-Species, & Aril-Robin).

Thanks,
Dennis in Cincy
