Friends!
Picked up this Iris from Chen Yi in 2002. It produces long thin stolons and grows here to about 18". It appears to be doing well and goes into spike in the fall about October....but then the spike always aborts. I have it in a cool (45 to 50 degrees F.) room with strong (6 bulbs) fluorescent light. I have given a piece to a friend with a greenhouse and it does well for him but he has the same problem...
Any suggestions?????
Any confirmed ID? As it has not flowered...I can't do much yet.
Would be happy to share a piece with anyone in a warmer area that thanks they might have a chance with it. I am sure it is subtropical if not a tropical species.
