At one point in time there was a plant refered to as Iris plicata which later turned out to be either iris pallida or Iris variagata or a cross of them.
I'm looking for a picture, drawing etc. Also amy info of when it was first recorded etc.
I'm doing some reserch for an article on origins of the plicata pattern in iris and its history.
