All,

Ellen is right re: the method of shipment and the USPS delivery policy.

Orders are filled in the order received but the first shipment, which usually comprises most of the orders, is in the middle of January. The deadline for orders is March 15. The seeds become available again at the AIS convention (if we have volunteers to sell them) and after that on the web site.

I mail 'The Siberian Iris'  issues using the same type of permit .. some arrive within 2 weeks while others take over 6 weeks. Case in point this fall: one subscriber received his copy a full 2 or 3 weeks before others in Missouri.
 
Perhaps the SIGNA officers will give some leeway in the deadline for orders?
 
Ellen (I agree with using the mailing permit since it is paid for and should be used.....)
