RE: re: Digital SIGNA

Hi,

I kind of agree with Sandy.  I love the paper newsletters .  I have learned to manage my on line or digital newsletters.  I do not put them away or take them out of my inbox on my computer until I read them so they are always looking at me when I open my outlook.  \\Char

I'm a member of multiple gardening groups that have gone to digital newsletters, and several subscription services that permit both.

My 'problem' (and it is mine) can be summed up as 'out-of-sight, out-of-mind'.

I receive the notification/pdf, I file it away... and I never come back to it.  So I end up contributing less to each group and having less concerns about each group.  Until I'm out completely.

Even this group - how many on-line contributions have I made in the last couple of years?  Rather pitiful, especially considering how excellent the seed exchange is.

The hardcopy newsletters force their way into my hands, and I do read them - I'll read everything on paper, even the 1 point text on the dollar bills.  And I have gone through the seed exchange very closely.

Regards,

Sandy Ives in Ottawa (warm and dry)
