Re: hardiness


I imagine soil temperature depends upon soil composition and  
structure.  It would be interesting to have containers of different  
kinds of soil each with a thermometer.  You could even take bets:   
would a bucket of sand get colder than a bucket of clay or silt or  
leafmould?
