We're right at 2500' elevation. Nicely acid soil
(huckleberries grow wild here) with lows down to -30 F and highs up to 100 F.
The garden can get frosted in any month of the year due to its location next to
a dry creek. Frost flows like water so we'll get nailed by a July frost while a
neighbor's garden up the hill will be just fine. Makes gardening interesting.
