Joan,

We're right at 2500' elevation. Nicely acid soil (huckleberries grow wild here) with lows down to -30 F and highs up to 100 F. The garden can get frosted in any month of the year due to its location next to a dry creek. Frost flows like water so we'll get nailed by a July frost while a neighbor's garden up the hill will be just fine. Makes gardening interesting. :-)

I am getting two of each iris -species letter. Hope something can be done about it. Also want to complain again about the people who don't give their location or at least their Zone number.  We really need that info to compare notes thanks.          Joan Cooper    Roseville, Minnesota
